The atmosphere was joyful, inclusive, and reflective of Tower Hamlets’ rich cultural diversity. Seeing people from different backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences come together strengthened a shared sense of solidarity, mutual support, and community cohesion, especially during the festive season. For The Rainbow Tree, the event was particularly significant as it helped amplify the voices and visibility of Bangladeshi LGBTQ+ and queer communities, creating space for dialogue, understanding, and collaboration with other grassroots organisations and partners.
